PropSims › Free DFS projections

Free DFS projections for FanDuel, DraftKings and PPR leagues

PropSims publishes free NFL DFS projections for FanDuel and DraftKings, plus PPR, half-PPR and standard fantasy rankings, all from 10,000 simulations of every game, with no card required during the beta.

What makes these projections different

Most free projections give you one number per player. Ours give you a range. We simulate each NFL game 10,000 times, both offenses together, then read every player's median, floor (10th percentile) and ceiling (85th percentile) off those simulated games (how the simulations work). Because teammates and opponents come from the same simulated game, a quarterback's big day and his receivers' big days line up the way they do on Sundays, which is what DFS stacking relies on.

Everything is our own model's output. We don't blend in or republish other sites' projections, and nobody hand-edits a player. If a number looks wrong, we fix the model, and the fix applies to everyone.

Free FanDuel projections

The DFS projections page scores each simulated stat line with FanDuel's rules: half PPR, with +3 bonuses at 300 passing, 100 rushing and 100 receiving yards. FanDuel salaries cover the Sunday main slate, and value is median points per $1,000 of salary. Every slate a player appears on (classic and Showdown) is listed next to his name.

Free DraftKings projections

The same simulations are scored with DraftKings rules: full PPR, 4-point passing touchdowns, -1 per interception and +3 at the same yardage thresholds. DraftKings salaries come from the DK main slate when a player is on it, otherwise from DK's other classic slates. The lineup optimizer covers the FanDuel main slate and every DraftKings classic and Showdown slate; it builds on each player's mean projection by default, with median and 85th-percentile modes available.

Free PPR projections for season-long leagues

For redraft leagues, the season-long start/sit rankings and weekly positional rankings show every QB, RB, WR and TE in full PPR by default, with one-click half-PPR and standard. Each player gets a median, floor and ceiling, and his own player page. For a direct "who do I start?" answer, use the Start/Sit assistant or ask the sims in plain English. New to formats? Read PPR vs half-PPR vs standard.

Showdown and single-game slates

The Showdown optimizer always loads the next single-game slate (TNF, SNF, MNF and more), for DraftKings Showdown Captain Mode and FanDuel Single Game, using each site's real salaries and scoring.

NBA projections

NBA projections are in beta under /nba/projections/: median, floor, ceiling, play probability and FanDuel/DraftKings fantasy points from a separate model (PropSims NBA v3). Boards re-run automatically when an injury status changes.

Injury news that moves the numbers

Projections go stale when a starter is ruled out. When the injury feeds we track show a player ruled out, downgraded or cleared before his game, we re-run that game's simulations and post the effect on the news feed: who absorbs the work and by how many points.

How to use them

FAQ

Are PropSims projections really free?

Yes. During the beta every projection, ranking, optimizer and the props board is free to use on the site, with no card required. Bulk CSV downloads need a free newsletter signup. A paid tier may come later; anything that changes will be announced first.

Where do the projections come from?

From our own model only. Each NFL game is simulated as a whole game, and every player's numbers are read off those simulations. We don't blend in or republish other sites' projections, and nobody hand-edits a player.

Do you have free FanDuel projections?

Yes. The DFS projections page scores every simulated stat line with FanDuel rules (half PPR, +3 bonuses at 300 passing, 100 rushing and 100 receiving yards) and shows FanDuel salary and value for the Sunday main slate.

Are the projections accurate?

We publish our backtest results, including where we trail the best public projections, on the methodology page instead of making accuracy claims here. Prop forecasts are logged before kickoff and graded on the public track record.
